Join HI-USA's National Council Meeting ...and some promising workshops! ...virtually on November 19-20...
From Blaine Franz, HI-USA: If you visit the site today, it will be more or less blank. That's a good thing as this page is intended to facilitate a live experience, which we won't be picking up until Friday as the NCM workshops begin. Here's what you can expect on the site this weekend:
- Live video of selected workshops Friday morning, all plenary sessions from 11:30am - 5:45pm on Friday, and all plenary sessions from 8:45am - 2:15pm on Saturday. Lunch time presentations will begin about 1:00 on Friday, and 12:15 on Saturday.
- A manned participation platform (called "Cover It Live") in which a staff member will be available online to answer or raise viewer questions, which can be typed directly into the live module. (We'll also accommodate questions via FaceBook posts or Twitter)
Several members of the HI-NC Council participated in the joint New England and Southern region meeting in Hyannis, Massachusetts, Oct 2-3. From left to right above, meet Joe Chesler, Julie Beck, Judye Adkins (newly-elected Council President), Sandy and Roger Preston ... They're about to board the dinner train!
Three Council members participated in HI-USA workshops this summer in Chicago. To use that training Julie Beck has already scheduled two workshops for YOU!
